Our plan to end child-slavery in cocoa
1. Empower chocolate farmers to become makers in areas where child-slavery was normalized. By adding-value to to their cacao they can increase their wages by over 8000 times.
2. Campaign to educate on child labor laws in troubled areas
3. Work w/ village leaders in Ghana and Côte D'Ivoire to have child-labor laws enforced.
4. Lobby USA's congress to prohibit illegal competition in cocoa and chocolate.
5. Promote all the certified Pono Cocoa small family farms and independet chocolate makers online. Use funds to advertise them. on Google Ads and Social Media.
6. REMAIN the most internationally recognized and trusted certification, as we are the only one, for slave-free chocolate.
